We Are CLOSE to the Finish Line!

**IMPORTANT NOTE**
If you did not receive an email from us in the last two weeks confirming your shipping address, please email us at yo@dosowls.com. ODIN will NOT be shipped if the address is not confirmed.

Happy new year! We are starting the trial assembly today!!

In the trial assembly, the assembly engineers and workers will learn the best method and steps to assemble ODIN. Only about 40 of the trial samples will be made and it will take 5 to 7 days. After the trial assembly, we need another 5 days to run tests, and once that concludes, we will go ahead with the mass production, which will take another 5 to 7 days.

During mass production, ODIN will be assembled, inserted into the carrying pouch along with the power adapters and it will be placed inside a nicely designed gift box. The box will then be inserted into a carton box for shipping.

Delivery

If you live in New York City and S. Korea, your ODIN will be dropped off by one of the Dos Owls Team members or it can be picked-up from our office. Everyone else will receive it via Fedex, DHL, TNT or SF Express and it will be shipped from Hong Kong.

Updates

Some of you wrote about updates. If you are tired of waiting or curious, please check our Facebook and Twitter feeds. We post small updates a couple of times a week.

Potential Delays

A lot of things can still go wrong and we may face delays. We are also running into Chinese New Year, where all of China shuts down for 2 weeks. Chinese New Year starts around mid Feb., so we will do our best to get this out before that.

Below, you will notice a picture of our carrying pouch. The pouch was designed and tested with a US power plug, which is a lot smaller than UK's power plug. As you can see from the picture, the prongs on the UK plug is sticking out. We already made all the pouches before we noticed the UK plug issue. These things happen.... Unfortunately... We are working on a solution as we speak.

This is really annoying.

Our mouse pad evolution is below. We made three iterations on the mouse pad, and we think you will be happy with it. Can you tell the difference between #2 and #3?

Pictures of Your ODIN Supplies

We are including more pictures from our pre-assembly stage. You will see how a lot of the parts are packaged when they are shipped to us from the suppliers and factories.

Forget the standard ugly green PCB boards. We wanted orange but the supplier couldn't do it so we picked yellow instead.
